Established in 1994, ReCapturing the Vision (RTV) is the force behind a suite of holistic, flexible, culturally-tailored intervention programs proven to help at-risk youth bridge the gap with their more successful counterparts. RTV’s three-tiered Program Model reaches youth in every area of their existence: School/Learning Environment, Home and Community.
School/Learning Environment
Whether you are a school-based, after-school, summer camp, community-based or faith-based organization, RTV offers six turnkey programs that are fully adaptable to your current structure. RTV’s curriculum focuses on teaching real life skills that help students excel in all areas of their life. Curriculum topics include:

Marriage Education
RTV passionately believes in the preservation of the family as the key to breaking generational cycles of at-risk behavior among youth. President and CEO Dr. Jacqueline Del Rosario delivers one-on-one marriage coaching to couples through a variety of programs.
- Marriage Minutes, a series of marital vignettes that can be used by anyone counseling on healthy relationships
- The Marriage University, an online healthy relationship training center
- The Marital Constitution, a comprehensive program that provides effective strategies for couples to fortify their relationships and marriages
RTV also hosts regional Marriage/Relationship Summits to educate youth on healthy relationships through intensive workshops and interactive presentations.
Social Services
RTV’s family strengthening efforts also provide services designed to stabilize the home and reconcile issues that lead to poor decision-making.
RTV is certified by the Florida Department of Children & Families to provide case management and substance abuse prevention and treatment services. RTV is also a provider for the South Florida Provider Coalition (SFPC). Contact us for more information.
Community
Media Saturation
ReCapturing the Vision has crafted a multilevel media component that reaches youth and families through the diversity of five streams: print media, music, videos, radio and DVDs. The purpose of this model is to saturate the target community with the message of youth empowerment.
Events
RTV’s Program Model includes a community component aimed at uniting children and families around positive activities. Special social events provide opportunities for families to enjoy positive activities that support our message and programs in a sound environment.
