I took my first trip to China last month. There were so many things that fascinated me about this place: the courtesy of the people, the advanced technology, the historical artifacts everywhere you turn– America could stand to learn a lot from China. I was reminded of this when I took a train to get from Shanghai to Beijing.America’s fastest “high speed” train goes less than half as fast as the new train between Shanghai and Beijing (150 mph vs 302 mph).
